    Social Listening Analyst

    The Role

    Ventura Digital is seeking a strategic thinker to evaluate, analyse and strategise data. You will help turn that data into inspiring insights. Ideally, a Social Insights Analyst who has a keen interest in the
    data research around social media, preferably coming from a business, marketing or economics background. As a Social Insights Analyst at Ventura, you will learn how to use the industry’s leading social media
    analytics tools to craft insightful stories and analysis using data gleaned from social media conversations. Using social media data and your analytical skills, you will become a specialist in understanding how
    consumers react to brands and content on social media, creating and crafting reports that highlight themes in conversation. The role will focus on working with the Social Insights team in interpreting data and translating it into impactful takeaways. You should be adept at managing projects within tight
    timelines.

    What you’ll do

    • Support Social Insights team in the process of planning and executing social listening and insights projects by monitoring social conversation and trends. This could include tasks like
      collecting historical data on brands to create performance benchmarks, etc.
    • Strong interest and capacity to translate data and research into strategic insights and recommendations
    • Passion for working with data and deriving insights to answer client business questions
    • Capture and track all relevant information about brands social accounts in our suite of tools
    • Social listening tool setup including keywords, query parameters, and dashboards

    Analysing Social Media Listening

    • Understand social media metrics, social listening tools and analytics.
    • Write Boolean queries for social listening topics.
    • Interpret data and measure against organizational objectives.
    • Tell stories with data

    What you’ll bring to the table

    • BA or BS (Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Online Journalism, New Media, or related field)
    • Ability to manage high levels of inbound conversation and respond within the desired time frame
    • Prior experience pulling and analysing data.
    • Ability to work within strict time constraints while balancing multiple projects
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the
      team
    • A collaborative teammate who is able to work in a constantly evolving environment

    Paid Media Account Executive

    The Role

    As a Paid Media Account Executive at Ventura, you will be given the opportunity to manage, plan, develop, implement and optimise a variety of paid campaigns across multiple clients and industries; utilising all social media channels with a primary focus on Facebook and Instagram but will have the opportunity to test on other platforms too.

    Create and implement a leading-edge analytical, test and learn culture so that the effectiveness of Ventura Group’s Paid Social clients continuously increase.

    Determine Paid Social strategies for Ventura Group and its clients and champion delivery of the agreed strategy.

    Champion the role of Paid Social in all sales, retention and communication activity and provide digital knowledge input into customer and proposition development.

    Reports to the Managing Director.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Having a strong understanding of paid social channels, specifically Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin 
    • Develop Paid Social strategy and targeted multi-channel marketing programs for clients that help them successfully build profitable, long-term relationships with their customers
    • Represent CRO in the design thinking and ensure the success of goal conversion in all digital initiatives
    • Understand the role of paid search within performance marketing strategies and work with Ventura team to implement an effective channel-agnostic approach to performance 
    • Stay current on the latest technologies and identify new opportunities, undertake training and further learning where necessary. 
    • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective growth of your own knowledge base/skillset
    • Actively participate in new business initiatives; create statements of work and client proposals
    • Ability to identify new opportunities, test, learn and maximise performance.
    • Excel in the communication to Ventura Group team, management and it’s clients on project development, timelines, and results
    • Manage campaign budgets and budgets allocated by clients
    • A paid social visionary with the ultimate goal to increase revenue and market share within these channels across all accountable clients
    • Regularly report on the performance and ongoing optimisation for each allocated client 
    • Building large-scale paid social campaigns
    • Formulating reports based on results and analysis of campaigns
    • Understanding metrics and data, including being able to manipulate them
    • Oversee the Junior role in terms of allocating work and providing Mentoring and training as required

    Account Management

    With your role, you will manage multiple clients including full autonomy on clients and be responsible for their day to day account management. Direct client liaison is an integral part of your role.  You will build relationships and be responsible for retaining clients. The ability to cross-sell and upsell is important.  

    Ensuring that time allocated to clients matches their monthly allocated hours and implementing a commercial thought process in decision making is required to ensure profitability for the Agency.

    Paid Media Senior Executive

    The Role

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Paid Media Executive to join our growing digital team in Colchester, Essex.

    The candidate will have a proven track record of running successful paid campaigns, with experience working with clients and people at different levels. As a Senior Paid Media Executive, you will strive to understand your clients’ objectives and any challenges that they face, whilst continuously optimising performance and brainstorming new ways to help them drive their business forward.

    • Generating ideas of how to improve performance, utilising A/B testing methodologies

    Required skills

    To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

    • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
    • Proven record of delivering successful paid media campaigns 
    • Experience setting up and managing paid media campaigns across a range of platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Google Ads and LinkedIn
    • Be proficient in using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other CRO and data tracking tools

    Paid Media Manager

    The Role

    We are looking for an experienced Paid Ads Manager to join our growing digital team in Colchester, Essex. The person filling this role will be an integral part to the growth of the paid media department, implementing processes and structure in line with objectives, targets and company ethos.

    The candidate will lead our paid advertising marketing team, drawing on over 5 years of experience in order to support and manage client accounts.

    Experience building successful paid strategies alongside overseeing the execution of these strategies, ready to build on an already in-depth understanding of paid media channels, including Facebook, Google Ads and LinkedIn. The candidate will have an interest in keeping on top of updates and changes to the digital landscape alongside looking to support the paid ads team, sharing industry knowledge and providing training where necessary.

    As a strategic thinker, you will be ready to analyse campaigns for a range of clients, suggesting improvements to optimise campaign performance and reach targets. Gaining an ongoing understanding of each client and their business to suggest effective optimisation of the strategy, alongside presenting reports directly back to clients and building on these relationships.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    As a Paid Media Manager, you will be part of a tightly-knit team. Your duties will include:

    • Leading and supporting the implementation of our client’s paid marketing strategies, with a particular focus on social advertising campaigns across a range of channels
    • Examining correlations between prospecting activities, revenue, and budget
    • Measuring and continuously optimising our client’s paid social campaigns using vendor-specific dashboards i.e. Google Analytics, Google Data Studios, Google Cloud, Facebook’s analytics and attribution platforms
    • Researching and testing partnerships with new vendors to expand our clients reach and/or lower cost-per-acquisition
    • Collaborating with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs, for multiple clients
    • Crafting landing pages and lead-gen forms to distribute through relevant paid programs 
    • Coordinating, supervising, training and inspiring members of our paid marketing team
    • Staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution and programmatic media buying
    • Monitoring market intelligence and keep track of competitor movement and market situation
    • Experience using data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau a bonus but not essential
    • Utilising a commercial understanding to expand business opportunities 
    • Managing client relationships, including expectations
    • Ability to learn and adapt skills to a range of clients across a number of industries

    Required skills

    To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

    • Previous working experience as as a paid media (social ar paid search) manager/strategy for 5+ years
    • A proven track record of successful paid social campaigns
    • In-depth knowledge of social advertising channels and technologies including Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
    • In-depth knowledge of and experience implementing A/B testing methodologies
    • Knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, and content distribution and placement networks

    PPC & Search Executive

    The Role

    We are looking for an experienced PPC and Search Executive to join our growing digital team in Colchester, Essex.

    The candidate will be a hands-on individual, ready to manage a range of client accounts. You will be expected to assist in the planning, building and execution of strategic campaigns, working to deliver outstanding results that continue to grow.

    You will be expected to have knowledge of how to set up and run PPC campaigns, whilst continuously implementing best practices and using expertise to maximise the results of every campaign.

    Digital SEO Strategist

    The Digital SEO Strategist will be instrumental in driving our client’s performance. Reporting to the Managing Director, successful candidates will be highly analytical and have proven experience in SEO. 

     

    Key requirements will include: 

    • Good knowledge of SEO 
    • Helping to develop and implement organic search strategies to help clients gain favourable results through SERPs. 
    • Understanding of contents role in the digital marketing mix. 
    • An interest in data and analytics, with a good understanding of how to utilise this insight and act on it 
    • Good social media experience. Can demonstrate experience of platform management and use of social media tooling, recognizes the role of social media platforms in the sales process across paid, earned and owned channels. 
    • Knowledge of demand generation funnels and a willingness to work towards revenue and lead generation targets. 
    • Experience in marketing automation tools, CRM and e-commerce platforms 
    • Ideally 4+ years in Digital Marketing 

     

    Internally, the Digital SEO Strategist will work alongside the rest of the agency to ensure that they are embracing the latest digital marketing techniques. 

    Success in this role relies on combining a high level of digital knowledge and skills with an aptitude for analytical analysis and the ability to interpret the data and act on it. The digital strategist will work closely with the agency sales lead, helping them identify opportunities within key accounts. The Digital SEO Strategist will be able to multitask and work to tight deadlines and needs to present in a calm and ordered fashion when dealing with clients, suppliers or internal colleagues. They will also need to have a thirst for knowledge to ensure that we keep up to date with the latest digital technology and implement it as required. 

     

    A successful performer in the role will:
